Forge 1.20.1 Installation Steps

This is a standard Forge installation procedure for the official target. We have not performed an in-game launch or certified a specific Forge build.

1 · Prepare a separate instance

Back up existing worlds. Create or select a Minecraft Java 1.20.1 instance so the mod and its settings remain separate from unrelated installations.

2 · Install matching Forge

Get Forge for 1.20.1 from the official Forge site and follow its installer instructions. Select the resulting Forge profile in your launcher. Do not substitute a Fabric or Bedrock profile.

3 · Get the official mod file

Open CurseForge file 9380871 for V0.6 Beta. Verify uploader The_Raxiores and Minecraft 1.20.1 / Forge. Download directly there; this guide does not redistribute the JAR.

4 · Place it in the instance mods folder

Put the downloaded JAR into that instance’s mods directory. Avoid leaving several versions of the same mod together. Read the selected file’s dependency listing and any launcher error before adding unrelated libraries.

5 · Launch and verify

Launch the Forge profile and inspect the mod list for the installed Raxiores build. Create a disposable world before opening an important save. Confirm ROR controls in Options → Controls → Key Binds. If startup fails, preserve latest.log and the crash report.
